Overview

The APOLLO VALVES AE40030 is a quarter-turn electric actuator in the AE400 series, designed to automate ball valves and other quarter-turn valve assemblies in commercial and industrial piping systems. It delivers 400 lbf-in of output torque at 50 percent load and completes a 90-degree travel in approximately 10 seconds at 50 percent load. Supply voltage is 230 VAC. The die cast aluminum body with anodized finish and fiberglass reinforced nylon cover provides corrosion resistance in demanding environments. Licensed electricians and pipefitters are the primary trades that install and commission this actuator. The AE40030 is suited for commercial and industrial valve automation applications where reliable quarter-turn actuation is required. Typical installations include water treatment, HVAC hydronic systems, industrial process piping, and general fluid handling. The operating temperature range of 32 to 150 degrees F makes it appropriate for indoor mechanical rooms and sheltered outdoor installations.
