It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape, a 7-degree relief angle, a corner radius of 0.40 mm (0.0156 inches), and provides 2 cutting edges per insert. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert in compatible CCMT toolholders as part of routine insert indexing or replacement. This insert is suited for finish to semi-finish turning of steel (ISO material group P). The pressed chip breaker geometry supports consistent chip control across a range of feed rates and depths of cut.
