Overview

The MSA Safety 10178557 Altair 4XR is a portable four-gas detector that monitors combustible gas (LEL), oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It uses rapid-response XCell sensors that sense gas up to twice as fast, supports Bluetooth connectivity with the MSA Altair Connect app, and includes a charger and calibration tubing. The unit is IP68 rated, MIL-STD-810G drop tested and offers about 24 hours runtime.
