Nordic Pure Rain Shields

Overview

The NORDIC PURE 8995 is a roof turbine vent cover designed to seal and protect whirlybird-style turbine vents during cold weather or extended periods of low use. It fits 12-inch turbines with external support arms and 14-inch turbines with internal support arms, covering both common residential configurations in a single SKU. The cover is constructed from breathable 300D x 300D 100% polyester fabric rated to resist rain, snow, ice, and wind. Adjustable side lacing allows a roofer or HVAC tech to cinch the cover securely at the base without special tools. The 3-year manufacturer guarantee reflects durability expectations for a rooftop-exposed accessory. This cover is used on residential structures where turbine roof vents are installed for attic ventilation. During heating season, an unsealed turbine vent allows cold air infiltration and significant heat loss through the attic plane. The 8995 installs in minutes directly over the turbine on the roof, making it a practical winterization item for HVAC service calls, weatherization crews, and property maintenance technicians. One cover is included per package.
