Overview

Packard PRL300 is a manual-reset roll out switch used as a low-pressure cut-off in automotive air conditioning systems. The PRL300 uses a 1/2 inch bimetal temperature element with a 300 F cut-out and SPST contact action that opens on temperature rise. It is rated 250 V and 16 A, features vertical 1/4 inch terminals, is UL recognized, and requires manual reset after activation to restore circuit continuity.
