Overview

The RUUD RCF4824HTAMCA is a 4-ton cased evaporator coil rated at 48,000 BTU/h, designed for installation in residential and light-commercial gas or oil furnace systems. It ships with a factory-installed TXV metering device and is compatible with both R-22 and R-410A refrigerants, as well as heat pump applications. The cabinet measures 21.75 inches wide, 24.5 inches tall, and 32 inches deep, and is fully lined with 5/8-inch foil-faced insulation to limit heat gain and cabinet air leakage. Licensed HVAC technicians install this coil as part of a split-system or package replacement. The multi-position orientation supports horizontal, upflow, and downflow configurations depending on the install scenario. The RCF4824HTAMCA is suited for residential forced-air systems paired with gas or oil furnaces and compatible split-system condensing units.
