Overview

The SKYTECH 1001-a (40 per case) is a fully battery-powered, radio frequency (RF) remote control system designed for gas fireplaces. It operates on a 9-volt battery with no household wiring required, making installation straightforward and code-friendly. The nondirectional RF signal allows the operator to switch the fireplace on or off from any position in the room without line-of-sight pointing. HVAC and fireplace service technicians install this system as a retrofit or new-installation control for standing-pilot and electronic-ignition gas fireplace units in residential and light-commercial settings.
