The TRADEPRO TP-SSGSS3 is a hermetically sealed sight glass and moisture indicator designed for use on refrigerant lines in HVAC and refrigeration systems. This component gives technicians a clear, reliable view of refrigerant flow and moisture content directly in the line. It works with all common refrigerants, making it a versatile choice for residential, commercial, and light industrial HVAC work. The fully hermetic design keeps the internal indicator element sealed and protected from contamination, which supports long-term accuracy and dependable readings in the field. The brass body resists corrosion and holds up well in demanding installation environments. Solid copper fittings allow for standard sweat connections, so HVAC technicians can integrate this sight glass into existing copper line sets without special adapters or tools. The connection size is 3/8 inches with a C x C (copper by copper) configuration, which is common in residential and light commercial refrigerant circuits. One of the standout features of this moisture indicator is its 3 percent relative humidity sensitivity. Most paper-style moisture indicators only detect at 10 percent relative humidity, which means moisture problems can go undetected longer. The TP-SSGSS3 responds at a much lower threshold, giving technicians an earlier warning of moisture in the refrigerant circuit.
