Overview

The US MOTORS tp-e33-3sp2 is a universal fixed fractional evaporator motor designed as a direct replacement for residential and light commercial air handling applications. Rated at 1/3 horsepower and operating on 208-230 volts single phase, it draws 2.2 amps at full load. The motor runs at three selectable speeds of 800, 950, and 1075 RPM, making it adaptable to a range of airflow requirements without swapping components. A 10 MFD, 370 or 440 volt run capacitor is required for operation. This is a 48-frame motor installed by HVAC technicians servicing evaporator coil blower assemblies in split systems and air handlers. The tp-e33-3sp2 fits evaporator blower applications in residential split systems and packaged units where a 48-frame, multi-speed PSC motor is specified. The side shell mount design is pre-drilled to accept Rheem-style mount wings and is also compatible with resilient mount rings, covering a wide range of blower housing configurations. The reversible rotation direction allows the motor to be configured for the specific airflow orientation required at the installation site without ordering a separate unit.
