Overview

The PixelPlay xLight Artnet E1.31 DMX LED Controller operates as a dedicated network master and standalone playback unit for high-density pixel installations. Designed specifically for pixel matrix panels and exterior architectural contour lighting, this hardware decodes native xLight project files while outputting synchronized Ethernet data streams. It works alongside an LED Artnet DMX controller infrastructure or direct fixture runs, processing Artnet and sACN (E1.31) broadcast packets across local area networks. Beyond live stream processing, the unit integrates Artnet, E1.31, and DMX512 lighting effect recording directly to local storage, audio decoding with sound playback synchronization, and physical dry-contact or network trigger ports. An onboard hardware real-time clock (RTC) maintains scheduled event timing down to the second without requiring an active external time server.
