Overview

The CROWN BOILER 41100B is a cast iron residential oil-fired hot water boiler built for reliable, efficient home heating. This unit delivers a DOE Heating Capacity of 123 MBH and an Input Rating of 140 MBH, making it well-suited for medium to larger residential heating loads. The 41100B carries an AFUE Rating of 87 percent, meaning it converts a strong majority of fuel into usable heat. The cast iron heat exchanger is backed by a lifetime warranty. The supply connection is 1-1/2 inches female threaded and the return connection is 1-1/2 inches, making integration with standard residential hydronic piping systems straightforward. The boiler holds 11.08 gallons of water and has a pressure rating of 50 PSI for the water circuit. A 30 PSI ASME relief valve is supplied with the unit. Vent size is 6 inches, and chimney requirements are a 7 inch diameter round flue at 15 feet height, or an 8 inch by 8 inch rectangular flue at 15 feet height. The burner is compatible with Beckett, Carlin, and Riello oil burners. GPH recovery is rated at 8 GPM at 35 degrees F and 12.3 GPM at 20 degrees F. Overall boiler dimensions are 20-3/4 inches wide, 22-1/4 inches deep, and 31-1/2 inches tall. The unit meets AHRI, ASME, ANSI/NFPA 31/70, CAN/CSA B139, and CSA C22.1 standards. A 120 Volt Low Water Cutoff Kit is available as an option. The Net IBR Rating is 107 MBH and the Net IBR Steam Area Rating is 20.29 square feet.
