Overview

The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 253X3 is a three-port brass service tee designed for fuel, refrigerant, and hydraulic line applications where mixed thread and flare connections are required in a single fitting. Port 1 accepts a 1/8-inch female NPTF connection, port 2 terminates in a 1/8-inch male NPTF thread, and port 3 terminates in a 3/16-inch male SAE flare. Machined from brass, this tee provides corrosion resistance and reliable sealing across all three ports. It is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and fuel system mechanics working on service valve manifolds, instrument taps, and low-pressure gas or refrigerant line branches. This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial service work where a branch tap off an existing line is needed without converting to a single connection type.
