Overview

The VALUE COLLECTION AP03.50 is an aluminum expansion plug designed to seal pipe openings by expanding outward against the inner wall of the pipe. The plug installs in its unexpanded state at 3.503 inches and expands to 3.700 inches to form a secure mechanical seal. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 9 psi. The 1/2-inch stem allows the expansion mechanism to be driven or tightened with standard hand tools. This type of fitting is used by plumbers, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians to cap, test, or isolate sections of piping systems. This expansion plug is suited for use in pipe testing, system isolation, and drain or cleanout sealing applications where a removable, pressure-rated cap is required. Its aluminum construction makes it appropriate for use with non-ferrous piping, drainage systems, and light-duty pressure applications. A single plug is included per package.
