Overview

The HYDRO-RAIN BLJ410-005 is a 0.5 inch Blu/Eco-Lock combo swing joint designed for irrigation system installations. It features a barbed lay-flat riser (BLR) inlet on one end and a male iron pipe thread (MIPT) outlet on the other, allowing a flexible, articulating connection between a buried lateral line and a sprinkler head. The swing joint design absorbs impact and lateral stress, reducing the risk of cracking fittings or breaking riser connections during mowing and foot traffic. Irrigation technicians use this fitting as a standard component in residential and light commercial head-to-lateral connections. This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial irrigation systems where swing joint flexibility is required at each sprinkler head station.
