Rain Bird Water Treatments

Overview

The RAIN BIRD y74007 is a 5004PCR pressure-compensating pop-up rotor sprinkler head designed for medium to large turf and landscape irrigation systems. It features Rain Curtain Nozzle Technology, which breaks water into a consistent curtain pattern for even distribution across the throw radius. The 4-inch pop-up height positions the nozzle above typical turf canopy during operation and retracts flush with grade when not in use. This rotor is installed by irrigation contractors, landscapers, and experienced irrigation technicians working on residential and light commercial properties. The y74007 is suited for medium to large lawn areas where uniform water distribution across a wide radius is required. The 5000 Series platform is a widely used rotor format in residential and commercial landscape irrigation. The pressure-compensating design helps maintain consistent output across zones with varying inlet pressure, making it appropriate for systems where pressure regulation at the head is preferred over zone-level pressure regulation. Coverage distance ranges from 25 to 50 feet depending on nozzle selection and operating pressure.
