The MidNite Solar MNSPD-600 Lightning and Surge Arrestor is a Type 1 surge protective device designed to help protect AC and DC electrical systems from damaging voltage surges. Built for indoor and outdoor applications, it can be used with transformer and transformer-less inverters without interfering with GFP protection circuits. The MNSPD-600 can provide surge protection for service panels, load centers, PV combiners, grid-tie inverter inputs, and directly connected electronic equipment.

- AC & DC Surge Protection: Designed to protect both AC and DC electrical systems, providing flexibility across a range of solar and electrical applications.
- Up to 600 VDC Protection: Supports nominal voltages from 0 to 600 VDC or 0 to 485 VAC.
- High Surge Current Capacity: Rated for up to 100kA peak surge current for the full device, with 50kA protection per section.
- High Energy Absorption: Provides 4,320 joules of energy absorption for the full device and 2,160 joules per section.
- Fast Response: Response time of less than 15 nanoseconds helps the SPD react quickly to surge events.
- Indoor & Outdoor Installation: Designed for installation in both indoor and outdoor electrical applications.
