The Tigo RSS (Rapid Shutdown System) Transmitter is designed to provide reliable safety and compliance in solar installations. When paired with Tigo's UL-certified Fire Safety solutions—such as the TS4-A-F and TS4-A-2F—the RSS Transmitter uses PLC (Power Line Communication) to maintain PV module connectivity while powered on. It automatically triggers module shutdown when powered off, complying with NEC 2014, 2017, and 2020 690.12 rapid shutdown standards.
